Concept book · Volume 2 · Art-tech for live events

Beyond the screen.

New experiences that do what Volume 1 doesn’t: paint you can hear, warmth you can leave on a wall, real light and real water, phones used as one giant camera, and AI for the whole room. Three are built directly on SprayWall.

01 · Starting point

What Volume 1 doesn’t do yet.

We read the 31 ideas of Volume 1 side by side and found five things none of them really do. Every idea in this volume fills at least one of these gaps. Click an idea to open it.

02 · The ideas

Nine new experiences

Every one has a ▶ Live demo you can play right here. Gold labels show the ideas that reuse SprayWall, the platform that already exists.

03 · Built on SprayWall

The platform is already paid for.

SprayWall is not a one-off: it is a working platform with a server, phone aiming, clock alignment, the phone camera, an operator console, a gallery and an offline binary. New ideas reuse those parts, which makes them faster and cheaper to build. Click a block to highlight who uses it.

04 · Quick extras

Smaller ideas for the back pocket

Less novel or narrower than the nine above, but each one is easy to add to an event package.

Side by side

Click a column to sort, click a row to open the idea. Build times are rough estimates for one experienced developer building a first working version.

06 · Honest risks

What we still need to prove

These ideas are buildable, but some carry real risks. Better to name them now than to discover them on the night.
